Todo se debe a algo llamado <strong>fuerza de marea<\/strong>, un efecto gravitacional que ocurre cuando la <strong>gravedad de la Luna (y tambi\u00e9n del Sol)<\/strong> tira de diferentes partes de la Tierra con distinta intensidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf15 \u00bfQu\u00e9 es exactamente la fuerza de marea?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>fuerza de marea<\/strong> ocurre porque la gravedad <strong>no es igual en todas partes<\/strong>. La parte de la Tierra que est\u00e1 <strong>m\u00e1s cerca de la Luna<\/strong> siente una atracci\u00f3n m\u00e1s fuerte que la parte que est\u00e1 m\u00e1s lejos. Esto crea una especie de <strong>estiramiento<\/strong> en la Tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca1 <strong>Imagina que la Tierra es una pelota de gelatina.<\/strong> La gravedad de la Luna estira un poco esa pelota hacia ella, haciendo que los oc\u00e9anos se abulten. Ese abultamiento es lo que vemos como <strong>marea alta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf0a \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 hay dos mareas altas al d\u00eda?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a1Buena pregunta! Esto confunde a mucha gente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hay una marea alta en el lado <strong>m\u00e1s cercano<\/strong> a la Luna (porque la gravedad tira m\u00e1s fuerte).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pero tambi\u00e9n hay una marea alta en el <strong>lado opuesto<\/strong> (porque la Tierra \u00abse va\u00bb un poco hacia la Luna, dejando atr\u00e1s el agua).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 Por eso, cada d\u00eda hay <strong>dos mareas altas y dos bajas<\/strong> en la mayor\u00eda de las costas del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2600\ufe0f \u00bfY el Sol tambi\u00e9n influye?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u00ed, aunque el <strong>Sol est\u00e1 mucho m\u00e1s lejos<\/strong>, su gravedad tambi\u00e9n produce un efecto de marea. Cuando <strong>el Sol y la Luna se alinean<\/strong> (en luna llena o nueva), sus fuerzas se combinan y causan las <strong>mareas m\u00e1s altas del mes<\/strong>, llamadas <strong>mareas vivas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf0c \u00bfLa fuerza de marea afecta otras cosas?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u00ed. De hecho, \u00a1la fuerza de marea es tan poderosa que tiene efectos m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los oc\u00e9anos!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Frena la rotaci\u00f3n de la Tierra<\/strong> poco a poco (nuestros d\u00edas se alargan unos milisegundos cada siglo).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>La Luna se est\u00e1 alejando de nosotros<\/strong> lentamente por este efecto.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En el espacio, algunas lunas de otros planetas tienen actividad volc\u00e1nica causada por <strong>mareas extremas<\/strong>, como en <strong>\u00cdo<\/strong>, una luna de J\u00fapiter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udde0 En resumen (por si tienes poco tiempo)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La <strong>fuerza de marea<\/strong> es una diferencia en la gravedad que genera estiramientos en los cuerpos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En la Tierra, provoca <strong>subidas y bajadas del mar<\/strong> dos veces al d\u00eda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es causada principalmente por la <strong>Luna<\/strong>, y secundariamente por el <strong>Sol<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tambi\u00e9n afecta a la <strong>rotaci\u00f3n de planetas<\/strong>, <strong>\u00f3rbitas de lunas<\/strong> y puede incluso <strong>calentar el interior de mundos lejanos<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udccc \u00bfSab\u00edas esto?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf0d Si la Tierra fuera completamente de agua, las mareas ser\u00edan de <strong>m\u00e1s de 1 metro en todo el planeta<\/strong>.<br>\ud83c\udf15 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google-sky.es\/blog\/index.php\/2025\/04\/08\/la-luna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La Luna<\/a> se aleja de la Tierra unos <strong>3,8 cent\u00edmetros cada
