En el Yermo, la energ\u00eda nuclear no es solo una fuente de poder, es el pilar de una civilizaci\u00f3n que logr\u00f3 condensar la potencia de un sol en una peque\u00f1a bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hay de cierto en todo esto? \u00bfEstamos cerca de lograr el \u00abSanto Grial\u00bb de la energ\u00eda o es pura fantas\u00eda de videojuego?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El gran secreto: \u00bfQu\u00e9 es la fusi\u00f3n fr\u00eda?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En la serie, el conflicto central gira en torno a un dispositivo capaz de generar energ\u00eda infinita: el <strong>n\u00facleo de fusi\u00f3n fr\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para entenderlo, debemos saber qu\u00e9 es la <strong>fusi\u00f3n nuclear convencional<\/strong>. Es el proceso que ocurre en el coraz\u00f3n de las estrellas. Para que dos n\u00facleos de hidr\u00f3geno se unan y formen helio, liberando energ\u00eda masiva, se necesitan condiciones extremas: presiones inmensas y temperaturas de m\u00e1s de <strong>15 millones de grados<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La fusi\u00f3n fr\u00eda<\/strong> ser\u00eda lograr ese mismo proceso, pero a temperatura ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfExiste en la realidad?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 1989, los cient\u00edficos Pons y Fleischmann anunciaron haberla logrado, pero nadie pudo replicar su \u00e9xito. Hoy, la ciencia oficial la mira con escepticismo, aunque laboratorios como los de la NASA investigan las <strong>LENR<\/strong> (Reacciones Nucleares de Baja Energ\u00eda). Es, por ahora, el gran sue\u00f1o inalcanzable de la f\u00edsica moderna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La ciencia de Fallout y el origen estelar del uranio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las bombas nucleares de Fallout funcionan por <strong>fisi\u00f3n<\/strong> (romper \u00e1tomos pesados).
